Being a sports lover person, I prefer to play and watch different kinds of games like basketball, badminton hockey, and so on. But today I get an opportunity to talk about one of the games, which I watched but not played, that is none other than cricket.
I clearly remember that a few months back, a cricket match was held at Mohali Stadium. When I came to know about this event, I was over the moon because I am a huge fan of Indian captain Virat Kohli, not only for his cricket skills but also for his overall personality.
I heard about this match from my cousin’s brother, who is living in Chandigarh near Mohali. Hence, we both decided to visit there to attend a live cricket match. It was the evening match, so we went there at about 4 PM and the match began around 5.30 PM. When the match started, I was really excited to see my favourite cricketer Virat Kohli in front of my eyes. The match was between India and Australia. In addition, the crowd was cheering for their favourite player, which made that night more enjoyable.
Moreover, Indians felt a sense of pride after watching the performance of the Indian team, including me. It was the most memorable night for us as we had a lot of enjoyment. One thing that made my night most precious was that I got an opportunity to take an autograph of Virat Kohli and also click a picture with him which made me feel on cloud nine.
Besides the performance of both teams, there were also plenty of things that made the audience more excited like the dance, the performance of actress Sonam Bajwa, the presence of famous actors and actresses, and so on. It was the first time when I saw the renowned personalities together in one place. Finally, the match was finished, and we went home. I was really glad and full of beans after attending that live match, so it was a time when I watched a sports match, which I never played in my life.
