When and where you saw it?
What type of film it was?
What the film was about?
And explain why it is your favourite film?
I love to watch movies in my leisure hours and have watched a wide number of movies. There are some movies that we watch and forget while some others have an everlasting effect on our lives.
I would like to talk about my favorite movie, 3 idiots. It is a Bollywood movie directed and produced by a well-known Indian director, Raj Kumar Hirani. one of my favorite artists, Aamir Khan is cast in it, I was extremely eager to watch this film.  The film was absolutely a masterpiece and I had several reasons to like it.
The film is focused on three college friends from a prestigious institution in India. The movie revolves around the different cultural backgrounds who have different goals in life but they end up in an engineering institution. Thus, talking about how Asian parents force the dreams on their children. One of them has a unique approach towards life and is blessed with a super technical mind. On the other hand, his friends were not that brilliant and were not interested in a particular field.
This movie was released in 2009 so it’s been quite a long time but it still remains on the top of my all-time favorite movies. The film is beautifully crafted and has some exciting twists. It gained pretty good recognition among audiences worldwide.
This is my favorite movie as it has many messages to deliver on friendship, success, and the education system of our nation. The movie highlights a friendship bonding among three college friends. It also teaches about following our passion instead of worrying about grades in order to be accomplished in life. This is one movie, which I can watch again and again.

Follow-ups

1. Do you think (watching) films have (has) any educational benefits?

Absolutely. In many high school and college courses, movies, whether documentary or narrative, are shown to teach students about periods of history, social issues, or philosophical ideas. Movies are a great resource for visual learners because they enable them to understand concepts without the barriers that hinder learning.

2. In what ways are documentary films and films only for entertainment different?

Feature films are mainly made to entertain the audience, whereas documentaries are meant to inform, to confront people with reality, and sometimes to promote a point of view. Feature films are mostly fiction, and sometimes total fantasy. They may be based on real events or people, but the director and screenwriter do add some drama to it. Documentaries are usually low-budget, whereas feature films can cost millions.

3.Why do you think documentary films are not so popular?

Documentaries are not so popular, because they don’t have big-name actors and actresses, and also are low budget. So, people are not fascinated by them.

4. Do different age groups like the same kinds of films?

No, children like animation and cartoon movies, Young editors like action movies and sports movies, elderly people like historical movies and family movies.

5. How are movies and real life different?

The cinema is all about fantasy. We like to escape from reality. Fantasy is much more fun. Real life is very different from movies. Movies are mainly based on fiction, and even if they are based on real life, some element of drama is added to them.

6. Do men and women like to watch the same kinds of films?

It Depends. As far as I know, most men like some war movies, science fiction and most women like romances and some films with handsome leading men. But these differences among genders are fast disappearing.
