To be honest, I am not huge fan of water sports but if I had to choose one then it would be scuba diving. One water sport I would like to try in the future is scuba diving. It is an underwater activity that involves exploring the depths of oceans, seas, or other bodies of water while wearing specialized equipment that allows individuals to breathe underwater.

I would love to try scuba diving in Goa. Goa is renowned for its vibrant marine life, crystal clear water, making it an ideal location for an unforgettable diving experience.

It can be both easy and challenging, depending on the individual’s comfort level and the diving conditions. For beginners, there are introductory programs and certification courses that provide the necessary skills and knowledge to dive safely.

I would like to try it because it offers a unique opportunity to explore a world beneath the surface and captivating underwater landscapes. It allows for a closer interaction with marine life, from tropical fish to majestic sea turtles and colorful coral formations.

Moreover, it offers a sense of adventure and a break from the everyday or monotonous routine. It allows me to experience a profound connection with nature.

Overall, it is an activity that combines exploration, serenity and a unique encounter with the wonders of the underwater world. It presents an opportunity for personal growth, an appreciation for nature’s beauty, and the creation of unforgettable memories beneath the waves.

    Follow-ups

    1. Why do so many people like going to places near water, such as lakes, rivers or oceans?

In my opinion, water bodies often offer breathtaking natural scenery. The calming sound of waves, the shimmering reflections, and the these views create a sense of peace and tranquility. Being in such environments can help people relax, unwind, and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

    2. What kind of leisure activity people like to do, in places like the ocean, at the beach, river or lake etc.?

There are some common leisure activities people enjoy in these locations such as, taking a dip in the water is a popular activity for both relaxation and exercise. Moreover, these serene environments provide an ideal setting for individuals to unwind, meditate, practice yoga, or simply enjoy a peaceful time by the water.

Furthermore, fishing is a leisurely activity enjoyed by many at rivers and lakes. It offers a chance to relax, enjoy nature, and potentially catch some fish.

3 Do you think children and old people do the same type of things when they go to a beach?

Children and older people tend to have different preferences and capabilities, so they may not engage in the exact same activities when they go to the beach. Like children are generally more active and enjoy running around, building sandcastles, playing in the water, and engaging in beach games. Older people, on the other hand, may prefer more relaxed activities such as walking along the shore, observing nature, or sitting and enjoying the scenery.

4 What kind of activities would you do, if you were spending leisure time at a beach or near the ocean?

I would take leisurely walks along the shoreline, enjoying the sound of the waves and the feel of the sand beneath my feet. It’s a peaceful activity that allows for relaxation. Moreover, I would also bring my camera and capture the stunning landscapes, seascapes, and wildlife found near the ocean. The beach offers endless opportunities for capturing beautiful moments and creating lasting memories.

    5. Why do some people like water sports?

Water sports provide a unique opportunity to connect with the natural environment. Being in water, whether it’s a lake, river, or ocean, allows individuals to immerse themselves in nature and experience its beauty firsthand. The sound of waves, the feel of water, and the surrounding marine life create a special connection and sense of tranquility.

    6. Do you think government should invest money in developing facilities for water sports?

Yes definitely, developing facilities for water sports can attract tourists and visitors, which can have a positive impact on the local economy. It can lead to increase tourism revenue, job creation, and business opportunities in related industries such as hospitality, equipment rentals, and sports coaching.
