To begin with, there is no doubt that the internet has turned the world into a global village. With its help, different types of apps assist us in many ways, such as entertainment, communication, and staying updated with what is happening around the world. Today, I would like to talk about one such application which not only gives people fame but also helps them explore the world, and that is Instagram, which is one of the most popular social media apps these days.

If I talk about how often I use it, I scroll through Instagram almost every day, especially in my free time or when I want to relax and simply kill time. To be honest, it has become an integral part of my daily routine and I often check it at the drop of a hat.

When it comes to its uses, this app allows users to share photos and videos, showcase their creativity, and display their talents. I mainly use it for entertainment as well as educational purposes. For instance, I follow many informative and motivational pages related to English learning, current affairs, and personal development, which help me learn something new every now and then. Moreover, it helps me stay in touch with friends, students, and colleagues by sending messages and watching their stories, so it really keeps me in the loop.

All in all, the main reason why I like this app is that it is

user-friendly and highly engaging. It helps me learn new things, unwind after a hectic day, and feel connected with the world at the click of a button. Therefore, I would say that Instagram is a useful and helpful app in my everyday life.

    Follow-ups

    1. What are the differences between old and young people when using apps?
Well, there are several differences between old and young people in using apps. Youngsters mostly use them for social media, study, and entertainment, while older people use them mainly for calling and banking. Moreover, young people learn new apps quickly, but elderly users often find them confusing.

    2. Why do some people not like using apps?
To start with, some people find apps complicated and time-consuming. They are also concerned about privacy and data security. Therefore, they prefer traditional ways instead of digital ones.

    3. What apps are popular in your country? Why?
In my country, a number of apps such as WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, Google Maps, and Paytm are very popular. These apps are widely used because these apps make communication, entertainment, and online payments fast and convenient.

    4. Should parents limit children’s use of computer programs and games? Why and how?
Yes, of course, parents should limit their children’s screen time. Too much use can affect their health and studies. Parents can fix time limits and encourage outdoor activities.

    5. Are young people becoming more reliant on these programs?
Yes, young people are becoming more and more dependent on these programs. They use them for study, communication, and entertainment every day. However, too much reliance can reduce real-life interaction, so balance is important.
