Well, to begin with, in this contemporary era, technology is advancing by leaps and bounds, and new gadgets are launched almost every day. No doubt, they make life more convenient and comfortable. Here, I would like to describe one such creation that I personally find a bit difficult to use, and that is my microwave oven.
If I talk about when I got it, I bought it last Diwali during a big discount season. Honestly speaking, it was a daunting task for me to choose a particular model because the market was full of options. Finally, I picked a countertop microwave since it is easy to relocate from one place to another. At that moment, I was over the moon because it was the very first time I owned such an appliance.
Moving on to the reason for purchase, the leading factor was my interest in cooking. I wanted to bake cakes and prepare grilled delicious dishes, which were not possible with a traditional stove. Apart from that, I thought it would also save me time and effort.
However, at first, using it was like a hard nut to crack. There were countless buttons, some for controlling temperature, others for setting timers, and I felt totally confused. Later on, I went through the user manual, which lured me to experiment more. Gradually, I learned how to adjust the settings for different items. Nowadays, I use it almost daily, mainly for heating food and sometimes for cooking simple recipes.
As far as my feelings are concerned, whenever I successfully make something, I feel a glow of satisfaction. It not only makes my life convenient but also works as a real stress buster because cooking in it is quick and easy.
Overall, I can say that although handling a microwave seemed challenging in the beginning, now it has become part and parcel of my kitchen and adds joy to my cooking journey.
