Greenery not only delights the eyes but also calms the mind.” In my life, I rarely meet people who genuinely love to grow plants. Today, I want to talk about my mother. She truly enjoys gardening, and it’s her favorite way to spend her free time.
She grows many types of plants. In our backyard, she plants beautiful flowers like roses and marigolds, which make the garden look colorful and vibrant. She also grows vegetables such as tomatoes, chillies, and spinach. On the balcony, she keeps small pots of herbs like mint and coriander, which are often used in cooking.
My mother takes care of her plants every day. She waters them in the morning and checks their health regularly. Even though she has a busy routine, she always finds time for her garden. She says it’s her way to relax and disconnect from stress.
She enjoys growing plants because it brings her peace and happiness. She feels proud when the plants grow well—it’s like watching her hard work succeed. Gardening also reminds her of her childhood in the village, where she used to help her parents in the fields. It keeps her connected to nature and brings back joyful memories.
So, this is the person I know who loves growing plants and finds great joy in it.
