    2. Unique charm – Special appeal
    3. Quiet – Peaceful silence
    4. Spots – Places/locations
    5. Unwind – Relax mentally
    6. Stunning – Very beautiful
    7. Fast-paced – Quick-moving

There are a number of cities around the world that are worth visiting, each with its own unique charm. One city that I have been to and would love to visit again is Chandigarh, my hometown. It is a place that perfectly combines natural beauty, modern urban planning, and a peaceful lifestyle.

I visit Chandigarh quite often since it is where I grew up. However, the last time I spent a    longer holiday there was about six months ago, and it was a much-needed break from my daily routine.

During my recent visit, I spent time exploring popular spots like the Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake, and the Rose Garden. I also spent time with family and friends, enjoyed delicious local Punjabi food, and took long walks in the clean, green surroundings. It was a great way to unwind and recharge.

Chandigarh is a well-organized and beautifully designed city with wide roads, stunning parks, and spotless streets. It has a calm and refreshing atmosphere, unlike the hectic and noisy big cities. The people are warm and welcoming, and there is a perfect balance between urban life and nature.

I would love to visit Chandigarh again because it feels like a peaceful retreat from the fast-paced city life I usually experience. The fresh air and lush greenery give me a chance to relax and clear my mind. Moreover, the city is constantly changing and getting better, so every visit offers something new. For me, Chandigarh will always hold a special place in my heart.

    Follow-ups

    1. What are the differences between the city and the countryside?
Well, there are several differences between the two. To begin with, cities offer better job opportunities and modern facilities, while the countryside is more peaceful and close to nature. For example, people in rural areas often enjoy fresh air and a slower lifestyle.
    2. Some people say large cities are more suitable for old people. What do you think?
In my opinion, large cities are not always suitable for the elderly. Although they have better hospitals, the fast-paced life and traffic can be stressful. For instance, my grandfather prefers living in a small town where life is calmer and easier to manage.
    3. Do you think it is possible that all of the population move to cities?
Honestly speaking, I don’t think it’s possible for the entire population to move to cities. Firstly, cities are already overcrowded, and there wouldn’t be enough space or resources for everyone. For example, housing and transportation are already big issues in many big cities.
    4. Do you think people in the countryside are friendlier than people in the city?
Yes, to some extent, people in the countryside are often more friendly and helpful.
This is because life in villages is slower, and people have more time to interact.
For example, when I visit my village, neighbors always greet each other, which is rare in cities.
