Your English speaking friend who lives in your town has asked for your advice about learning a new sport. Write an email to your friend. In your email, recommend a new sport that you would be suitable for your friend to learn explain how your friend could learn this sport suggest that you both learn this sport together

Write at least 150 words.

Dear John,

I hope this email finds you well. I was delighted to hear that you are interested in learning a new sport, and I’d be more than happy to offer some advice.

Considering your energetic nature and love for challenges, I would strongly recommend rock climbing. It is not only physically demanding but also mentally stimulating, as it requires focus and problem-solving skills. Moreover, it provides a full-body workout and helps build strength and confidence.

Fortunately, we have a well-equipped climbing centre in our town that offers beginner-friendly courses. You could start by enrolling in an introductory class, where professional instructors teach basic techniques and safety rules. This would make the learning process both safe and enjoyable.

I’d also like to suggest that we learn this sport together. Training as a pair would keep us motivated and make the experience more fun. We could sign up for the same beginner course and practise regularly.

Let me know your thoughts. I’m really excited to start this new adventure with you.

Best wishes,
Name
