You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.

Your family is going to move to another town. Write a letter to the Principal of a local school asking if they will accept your son.

Describe his academic achievements and scope of interests.

    • Write at least 150 words.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.
    • Begin your letter as follows:

    Dear Sir or Madam,

    Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to enquire about the possibility of enrolling my son in your school, as our family will be relocating to your town next month due to work commitments.

My son is currently studying in Grade 6 and has consistently achieved strong academic results, particularly in Mathematics and Science. He was awarded a certificate of excellence last year for securing top grades in his class. In addition to his academic performance, he is a disciplined and responsible student who completes assignments on time and participates actively in classroom activities.

Apart from his studies, he has a wide range of interests. He enjoys playing football and has represented his current school in inter-school competitions. He is also keen on computer programming and spends his free time learning basic coding skills. Furthermore, he takes part in debate clubs, which has helped him develop confidence and communication skills.

I would be grateful if you could inform me about the admission procedure and availability of a place. I am happy to provide any additional documents if required.

    Yours faithfully,
