Well, I have read many books and stories in my life. Some of them were really interesting and meaningful. However, here I would like to talk about a famous story called “The Tortoise and the Hare,” which includes animals and left a positive impact on me.

This story mainly revolves around two animals – a tortoise and a hare. The story is about a race between them. The hare was very fast and confident because he believed he could easily win the race. On the other hand, the tortoise was slow but hardworking and determined.

During the race, the hare became overconfident and decided to take a nap on the way. However, the tortoise kept moving steadily without stopping and eventually won the race. In the end, everyone was surprised by the result.

As far as I remember, I read this story during my childhood because it was included in one of my school books. Moreover, my parents also encouraged me to read moral stories as they help children learn valuable lessons.

To be honest, this story really struck a chord with me or I found this story quite inspiring because it teaches an important lesson that “slow and steady wins the race.” I think success does not only depend on talent or speed; hard work and consistency are equally important. Overall, it is a simple yet inspiring  story, and I still like reading it from time to time.

 Follow-ups

  1. Should schools teach children about animals?

Absolutely, I believe they should. Children should learn about animals because it helps them understand nature and develop kindness towards living creatures. Moreover, it can make learning more interesting and engaging.

  1. Some people think pets should not be kept in cities. What do you think?

In my opinion, I partly agree with this statement. On the one hand, cities usually have limited space and people often lead hectic lives, so taking care of pets can be difficult. However, if owners provide proper care and enough attention, pets can still feel at home in urban areas.

I completely agree with this view. Many people consider pets as family members because they provide unconditional love and companionship. In fact, people often become emotionally attached to their pets and treat them with great care and affection.

  1. Do many people keep pets in your country?

Yes, definitely. Many people in my country keep pets such as dogs, cats, and birds. Moreover, keeping pets has become quite common nowadays.

  1. What are the advantages of keeping pets?

Well, keeping pets has several benefits. They provide companionship, reduce stress, and are usually very loyal. As people are leading hectic lives these days, spending time with pets can help them unwind and relax.

  1. Why do people always tell children stories with animals?

Well, I think animal stories are quite interesting and engaging for children. They not only entertain them but also teach important lessons and moral values. As a result, children learn things in an enjoyable way.
