Well, to begin with, in today’s busy life, people often look at the sky to feel calm and escape from stress. Here, I would like to talk about a special time when I saw a beautiful rainbow.

Actually, it happened around two months ago during my summer vacation when I visited my maternal uncle’s house in the countryside. Compared to the noisy city, the village atmosphere was peaceful, with green fields and even a historical Sikh temple nearby.

One evening, when we went to the fields to check the crops, the weather suddenly changed. At first, the sun was shining brightly, but soon dark clouds covered the sky, and it started raining. Honestly, that short shower felt like a blessing in disguise on such a hot day. The smell of wet soil and the cool breeze made me feel fresh as a daisy.

After about fifteen minutes, the rain stopped, and the sky cleared. At that moment, a rainbow appeared across the sky above the fields. I kept looking at it for around five to seven minutes because it was a once in a blue moon sight. Without wasting a second, I captured it on my phone to keep the memory safe.

To be honest, I was on cloud nine after seeing it because in the city, due to pollution and tall buildings, I hardly ever get such chances. It gave me inner peace and reminded me that sometimes the simplest sights are the real icing on the cake of life.

So, all in all, it was one of the most unforgettable views of the sky I have ever witnessed.

Follow-ups

1. Would people be willing to get up early to watch and enjoy the sunrise?
Well, not everyone would do that. Only a few people, who are nature lovers or have a healthy routine, make the effort to wake up early. Most people, because of their hectic schedule, prefer to sleep in.

2. When would people watch the sky?
Honestly, it depends. Some people watch the sky in the early morning during a walk or exercise, while others enjoy it in the evening after work when they feel more relaxed.

3. Do many people pay attention to the shapes of stars?
To be fair, not many people notice star patterns these days. In cities, light pollution makes it hard to see them, and people are often busy with their phones or work. Only a few interested ones, like astronomy lovers, really pay attention.

4. What do people usually see in the sky in the daytime?
Well, in the daytime, people can see the sun, clouds, and sometimes birds or even airplanes. If the weather changes, they might also notice rainbows or different shades of the sky.

5. What are the differences between things people see in the sky in the daytime and at night?
There are some clear differences. In the daytime, we mainly see the sun, clouds, and flying objects like birds and planes. At night, on the other hand, people can see the moon and stars.

6. Why do some people like to watch stars at night?
The main reason is that it’s a very relaxing activity. Looking at stars gives people peace of mind and helps them forget their worries for a while. For some, it also feels magical and reminds them how big the universe is.
